Feeding Program
One of our favorite parts of ministry is our Feeding Program. Las Brisas del Sur Elementary School is located directly across the road from our ministry property. We have partnered together with the school to feed a hot lunch to all of the children in grades K-6 and their teachers while school is in session February-November. In Honduras, students only attend school half a day, and no meal is provided at school. We also serve around 50 elderly men and women daily.
In total, we are feeding 300 people each meal. Now that our Feeding Center is complete, we are serving Monday-Friday.
Each day of feeding costs and average of $250 per day or $1250 per week for a total of $5000 per month. Would you consider helping us provide a meal to these students, their teachers, and the elderly? You can do so by clicking the button below!
