Church Plants
In the Midst Las Brisas del Sur
In January 2019, we began a church plant in a small village community called Las Brisas del Sur (Southern Breeze). We started meeting in homes. Weeks later, we moved to our land and would meet under a tarp. When the sun was too hot and during rainy season, we moved across the street to the porch at the local school.
At the end of 2019, a team of men came from the States to pour the foundation for our church building, and we began meeting there on our property.
Finally, in 2020, we were able to put up the roof on our building. Now we can meet any time, rain or shine.
Our church provides a variety of activities including a children's Sunday School program, men's Bible study, weekly discipleship classes, youth classes, and more. We are thankful that God has blessed us with this space to make disciples and share the Good News of Jesus in Las Brisas community. This is our main campus, pastored by Bro. Misael Luque.

In the Midst Guaimaca
Our second church plant is in the community of Guaimaca. In 2019, Rony Castillo came to work on our church in Las Brisas as a welder. He began attending church regularly, and started making the half-hour drive weekly with as many friends and family members as would fit in his pickup truck. Eventually, the crowd outgrew his truck, and we began bringing them to and from church on Sundays and Wednesdays fitting up to 35 people in our 15 passenger van.
A year later, Bro. Rony announced his call to preach, and we knew it was time for the people of Guaimaca to have a church of their own. They've been meeting on Bro. Rony's porch ever since.
We've been amazed at the growth we've seen in this church, both in number and spiritually. In addition to their regular Sunday and mid-week worship services, every other Tuesday night, a group of men from ITM Las Brisas travel to ITM Guaimaca for Bible Study and a time of fellowship, and they meet on Friday nights for Discipleship classes.

In the Midst San Jeronimo
Our church plant in San Jeronimo was years in the making. It all began with an elderly man we called Grandpa Blas who was extremely poor and very sick. We would take food to him and his wife, and help her care for him the best that we could. When he eventually went to be with the Lord, she asked us for help moving their things to the community of San Jeronimo in the southern state of Choluteca, Honduras. We made the 4 1/2 hour drive with all of her belongings, and upon our arrival, we noticed a great need in the area.
We began to go as often as possible to visit Sister Marcelena, and we began evangelizing as much as possible. Many in the community expressed their desire for a church, but they were very closed off because of unkept promises that had been made to them from previous ministers. We knew that in order to win the hearts and ultimately the souls of the community, we would need a constant presence there.
Church members from both Las Brisas and Guaimaca have made it their mission to cultivate the work in San Jeronimo. Every Saturday we have groups who travel to the area to lead discipleship classes, worship services, and Bible class for the children and youth. We are currently in the process of searching for land to purchase to build a church building, as well as a home for a full-time pastor.
